In the Austrian electronic music scene IllSkillz are an institution. And they deserve it, you can say, as leading the way they not only played a big role in establishing Drum and Bass in their homeland but also have been causing quite a stir as critically acclaimed artists known throughout the world.

Being part of trife.life!, more than just an event group, they raised their progressive claim of club culture and reached cult status. At the same time they excelled in their production and made history when they became the first Austrians ever to be signed on renowned English record labels. Today the list reaches from Metalheadz, Hospital, Virus to Renegade Hardware, Universal and Sanctuary. Besides they founded the two labels ill.skillz_recordings and Brigand Music in order to realize their open-minded musical ideas and can be seen as a mirror of their development over the years.

Spanning their sounds from trance-influenced chords to the minimal glitch of today’s music, IllSkillz always focus on richness and variety and weave in a slight melancholic thread. The same goes for their DJ sets, which have got crowds bubbling on various continents of this planet.
